is a home-based business that provides custom painting, decorative finishes, and mosaic creations.  The company is owned and operated by Tara Heil.

Tara has a long history in the creative arts/design fields. Even as a young girl, art had an important place in her life. From numerous art classes throughout school, to “decorating and re-decorating” her room, she enjoyed making the spaces around her different and unique.

Upon graduation from college, with a degree in business, Tara embarked upon a career in advertising. Following the birth of her youngest son, she attended The Chandler School of Interior Design. This led to a change in careers, and she began working as an in-store designer for a specialty furniture store, as well as maintaining her own clients.

In her own homes, as well as those of her clients,
she has developed and applied many hand painted
decorative finishes. Some of her creative painting beautifies
one of the largest churches in the Omaha area.

Tara has been fortunate to live in Germany and travel throughout other parts of Europe, observing and absorbing firsthand the architectural finishes that are re-created in many of the sample finishes in her portfolio.

To further enhance her faux finish skills, Tara has taken courses at one of the finest faux finishing schools in the country. Most recently, she completed a Portfolio Builder course in July, becoming familiar with newly developed and cutting edge products that are used in today’s hand painted finishes.

Tara has participated in the 2006 Inspirations and Innovations Tour of Homes, in the Omaha Fall Parade of Homes, and also donated the painting of a mural in the Inspirations & Innovations Action 3 News Kid’s Bedroom Makeover Contest

Another creative outlet for Tara is the creation of mosaic designs on furniture, on walls, and on outside structures. Items such as ceramic tiles, pottery shards and pieces, and even buttons are used in the design of these one of a kind creations.
